DFI with FACEPI & PDFI & Mercury Drug San Dionisio Plaza, Paranaque, Philippines.
The Diaz Foundation
in association with
FACEPI & PDFI and Mercury Drug, organized a medical mission at San Dionisio
Plaza, Paranaque. The Medical Mission is the main project organized by the
Philippine-Australian youth. It was primarily organized to enable the
Philippine-Australian youth to take the opportunity
to contribute to and appreciate their cultural heritage and the difference they
can make.
Flown in all the way from Australia to help and participate in the Medical
Mission are the youth delegates and reigning beauty queen title holders, Miss
Philippine Independence (Jennifer Trijo) and Miss Diaz Foundation (Kristine De
Leon).
Miss Diaz Foundation, Kristine De Leon had to say about the project "it is a
really worthy cause and I think it is something everyone should work towards and
be involved in".
The First Filipino Barrister in Australia and Founder of the non-profit
organization, Atty. Jess Diaz has also volunteered his services in the medical
mission. "We aim to implement initiatives to help those less fortunate than
ourselves, acknowledging our roots and giving back to the community is what it
is all about" Atty. Jess Diaz said.
The medical mission is a worthy project that proves that with effort and acts of
kindness people can "make a difference" as The Diaz Foundation motto says.
The foundations Youth Vice-Chair, Atty. Jaymes Diaz also offered his assistance
in the medical mission. "The medical Mission is a great way to give back to our
homeland, we are extending an open invitation to everyone to get involved"
Jaymes said.
